"I’d been having all kinds of brake issues, particularly with the pedal going kind of “limb” on me half way through a session. I wasn’t boiling the brake fluid (I was using Motul RBF600) but the pedal would lose it’s firmness. Needless-to-say this didn’t help my lap times any! I just didn’t feel the confidence in the brake half way through that I did when I started the session.
So Ryan gets me to try this new brake fluid, Torque RT700. He tells me it will take care of all my brake fluid issues. It’s a bit more expensive (like double the price of the Motul!) but he says to try it and if I don’t like it he’ll give me my money back. Well let me tell you this RT700 stuff ROCKS! Pedal stayed firm and solid for the entire session. It never felt like the brakes might go away at any moment as it did with the Motul. And to top it off the next time I went to the track I didn’t even need to bleed the brakes! The pedal was all there and feelin’ great. So I just went out and ran the car and turned my best lap times ever.
