Location: Front Control Arm Lower-Inner Rear

The OEM bushing is a spherical ball joint surrounded by rubber. Most aftermarket replacements are a downgrade since they replace this whole assembly with just a urethane bushing and no longer utilize a non compliant ball joint.

SuperPro has combined the best of both worlds. Actually three in this case.
They still retain the ball joint and then encase everything in polyurethane! Furthermore this kit is offset so they can be installed to increase your caster. Similar to an M3 front bushing vs. a regular 3-series.

      Vertical pivot point

      In an attempt to precisely locate a control arm's pivot point to the chassis, many vehicle manufacturers have begun to use a vertical pivot bushing. While this OE bushing has many benefits in locations precision, it also has a numerous weakness which has led to early failures. We at DST would like to introduce you to the DuroBall suspension bushings, SuperPro's answer to the faulty OE vertical pivot bushing.

      Unique hybrid

      SuperPro has engineered this unique bushing to improve the OE bushing and deliver precise steering and handling. Utilizing a metal and polyurethane hybrid design, the DuroBall bushing adds the strength and dependability needed for this demanding application.

      Greater durability and longer service life

      SuperPro's unique bushing combines the core strength of their polyurethane blend with a specialized metal ball joint. This design delivers all of the articulation benefits of a vertical pivot bushing with a greater durability and longer service life. Under the polyurethane boot, which is used to seal in grease and keep out contaminants, is the metal ball joint. This ball joint rotates in the bushing allowing the suspension to move in a way the OE bushing does not.
