Cosworth uses brand new blocks that go through a rigorous inspection process before the cylinders become honed. Then a new Cosworth Billet crank along with Cosworth’s forged connecting rods with Tri-Metal bearings goes in, as well as a set of Cosworth’s forged pistons.

Each engine is carefully assembled by one of Cosworth’s professional engine builders which includes a complete specification sheet that lists all critical dimensions which also includes a serialized plaque.
