Another WORKS first original product. There is a science to correctly sizing a throttle body. WORKS pioneered this product by investing countless hours of research into this area during the spring of 2003. The result: a significant reduction in the pressure differential before and after the throttle body that can add 10+ horsepower to your EVO, smoothes out the power curve, and pays even bigger dividends as you add other tuning products. Just as important, the Aperture II provides much quicker throttle response. WORKS leaves no part of the EVO untested and the reward is real power out of a simple solution. This "Max Bore" version of our original WORKS Aperture provides the greatest possible opening at 65mm utilizing the OEM casting. We were the first ones to discover this by sacrificing a body which was then copied. Accept no imitations. Features a "WORKS" engraved brass plate and a carefully hand honed bore for ultimate flow--an ideal match when using an intake manifold with a 65+mm opening such as the WORKS ported AFM (Abrasive Flow Machined) intake manifold. Supply your own gasket or modify the included OEM gasket. The throttle plate clearances are fully inspected by hand and the SAS and TPS are calibrated here at WORKS for hassle free installation.

WORKS Aperture Throttle Bodies are always equipped with the WORKS Aperture High Pressure Shaft Seals. These high-quality seals have been tested to 38 psi and are a necessity for any modified EVO.

Core Charge: The Aperture II is sold on a core exchange basis and may vary cosmetically but is fully functional. We offer two options: you can send your core and sensors (if sensors are needed) once you place your order and we will send your new Aperture II once we receive and inspect your core and sensors (if applicable), or we can charge $200.00 (without sensors) or $400.00 (with sensors) onto your credit card and send your new Aperture II immediately. Once we receive your old core and sensors (if applicable) in good condition we will credit your card for the full amount. This is convenient as you do not need to have your EVO down for an extended period of time.
